Profile

Biologist, Master of Science in Fishery Biology, and Nature Photographer. My journey began in 2011, when I traveled to South Africa for the first time. I discovered a new way to contemplate the beauty of the natural world: through the lens. I had just graduated as a Biologist and after I met the Great White Sharks my journey in Photography had officially begun.

What started as curiosity soon became a calling. Getting close to wildlife and exploring extraordinary places turned into serious work, and today my mission is to share the treasures of Nature with people who may never have the chance to witness them firsthand. As a Nature and Wildlife Photographer, I seek to capture fleeting moments and bring them to those who will never stand where I stood.

My images have been used for Scientific Research, newspapers, and magazines, as well as in the documentary The Great White Shark Legend (directed by Ricardo Lacombe, 2014), filmed in False Bay, South Africa. In 2025, I received the Best Presentation award at the 11th International Conference on Biological Sciences, held in Matsue, Japan - where I presented on the role of Photography in Conservation and Scientific Research.

Bringing Biology and Photography together is at the heart of everything I do — and teaching others to do the same is one of my greatest joys. I offer photographic services and a unique, one-on-one course. Please get in touch to learn more.
